Mr. Juan Gabriel L. Velasquez - President and Chief Executive Officer
Presently, Mr. Velasquez is the President and Director of PRC Magma Energy Resources, Inc. and chairman of Solegy LLC, New York. He also holds directorships in several other companies and civic organizations, including the Child Protection Network Foundation, Calatagan Bay Resources, Inc. and Radio Veritas Global Broadcasting System, among others. Highlights of his career includes his stint as Chief Financial Officer of Pilipino Telephone (PILTEL) Corporation, Special Assistant to the President of the Philippine Long Distance Telephone (PLDT) Company, Vice President of Equitable PCI Bank and Senior Officer for the US, based in New York, and Assistant Vice President for International Financial Management of J. P. Morgan, New York.
Mr. Velasquez graduated Cum Laude, AB Economics from Ateneo de Manila University and holds an Masters in Business Administration from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
Mr. Ramon Carlos I. Nivera - Chief Operating Officer and Director
Mr. Nivera is an investment banker and professional manager, specializing in corporate start-ups, acquisitions and mergers, and private equity investment. He was formerly with Bancom International, Asiavest Limited and First Pacific Limited, all based in Hong Kong. He served as country head for Hibernia Bank of California and First Pacific Bank, then as chief operating officer for P.T. Daria-Varya, an Indonesian pharmaceutical manufacturing company. He served as both corporate planner and as line executive with Philippine Airlines and Philippine Long Distance Telephone Company. Thereafter, he served as Executive Director and Chief Operating Officer of Pilipino Telephone (PILTEL) Corporation.
Mr. Nivera is an economics honors graduate of Ateneo de Manila University, and holds a Masters in Business Administration from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, and a Masters in Public Administration from the John F. Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University.
Emmanuel G. Herbosa - Independent Director
As Senior Vice President and branches Division Head for Visayas-Mindanao of BPI Family Savings Bank, Mr. Emmanuel Herbosa manages 265 branches with responsibility for 30% of the Consumer Fund Base. He was Chief Operating Officer of Ayala Insurance Group and headed the implementation of the BancAssurance Program that synergized the banking and insurance businesses of the Ayala Group. He has held various positions in BPI making him a well-rounded banking industry professional. His career includes stints in Procter and Gamble PMC and the Economic Development Foundation.
Mr. Herbosa graduated with honors from De La Salle University and finished his Master of Business Administration at The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.
Arturo B. Diago, Jr. - Independent Director
Presently, the Executive Vice President, Chief Operating Officer, Treasurer and Board Member of Directories Philippines Corporation, Treasurer and Chief Operating Officer of Cyan Management Corporation, Board Member and Treasurer of Golden Bear Travel Corporation, Vice President of MG Exeo Network, Inc., Treasurer of Telephilippines, Inc., Executive Vice President and Treasurer of Lacturan Holdings, Inc., Treasurer of Mammoth Property Management Corporation, Treasurer and Director of Mantrade Development Corporation, Treasurer of 911 Alarm, Inc., Director of Cybersoft Integrated Geoinformatics, Inc., Director of Philippine Multi-media Inc., Director of Rogers Multi-Ventures, Inc., and Director of Cebuana Lhullier Bank. Mr. Diago is a member of the Asian Institute of Management Alumni Association, the Financial Executive Institute of the Philippines (FINEX), the Makati Business Club, the Bishops Business Conference and the De La Salle Alumni Association.
Mr Diago holds a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce from De La Salle University and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the Asian Institute of Management.
Atty. Maria Pia Caterina M. Manguiat - Corporate Secretary and Legal Officer
In addition to her duties as Corporate Secretary, Atty. Maria Pia Caterina M. Manguiat (“Atty. Manguiat”) is also the Head of Legal & Regulatory Affairs of PMSI and is an accomplished corporate, civil and labor law litigator, having practiced at Lara Uy Santos Tayag and Danganan Law Offices. Atty. Manguiat also interned at the Intellectual Property Office, the Office of the Solicitor General and Puno and Puno Law Offices (assigned to election law related work).
Atty. Manguiat holds a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce and a Bachelor’s degree in Education, both from De La Salle University, and holds a Juris Doctor from the Ateneo de Manila School of Law.
